The one and only perfectly plan trip!

Planning takes a long time, but fantasizing takes no time. I planned a trip with FSA to South Korea in Fall of 2010. I will be studying for maybe a couple months of a half semester. I'm excited, but I am require to finish about 10 scholarship essays, contact people, work long hours and work towards my goal to going to South Korea. I want to be in the cities where the the city never sleeps. I want to visit the country side with the green fields and farming with country houses. That the beautiful place I want to live for life! I am learning the basics of the alphabets and pronunciations.
My cousin/ uncle is in South Korea right now teaching English in a small elementary school. He meets nice people and eat plenty of good food. I haven't talk to him recently, but a while back when he just arrived in Korea that we have spoken. I am truly jealous of him and his gender (Hmong mens/boys get to go abroad to another country when you want to, but not any Hmong girl). I want to do what he does and go somewhere free and feel the new breeze of another country.
I have decided to plan this trip to go to another country because of the daily activities that I do. I watch Korean dramas, listen to Korean music (I like Bi Rain, Wonder Girls, Super Junior, Ryan from Paren; theses are my major ones for now), the food (mostly sushi and soup! But, I like the long spoons and chopsticks) and last, but not least; I like the traditional clothing. I like everything about the place to the language. I know that Korean is not what it's like on movies and dramas, but I still really looking forward to hopefully taking that special trip to South Korea!

A repeated and important image of Antigone is dead body. "But his dead corpse won’t back up what you say." (Sophocles 585- 588). This is important because the quote shows that she release the soul of her brother . So, now, Antigone could live with a little peace after her brother is buried. Also, the body represent the strong love that she has for the family and lost ones. It is reference many times throughout the passage.
A fatal flaw in Creon is that he cause all the deaths in the kingdom. The Queen died and his son Haeman died and Antigone died. ""Now verily I am no man, she is the man, if this victory shall rest with her, and bring no penalty"(97).
Shows that she thinks that he's not a man anymore, but Antigone did the right thing. Creon's blindness to Teiresias' warning, is what triggers, the chain reaction which leads to his down fall and all of the other deaths.
Ismene woke up to the truth when Antigone dies and she rethink about how she could of helped her own sister in the act of the burial. "You’re going to kill your own son’s bride?" (650) This is when Ismene is talking to Creon and realize that following the rules to the kingdom id not better than listening to Antigone in the first place. The harsh words of Creon a wakens the scared Ismene in the play."You’re my sister. Don’t dishonour me" (623-624) Ismene finally agrees to be on her sister's side of the fight.
Let me respect the dead and die with you.
Creon figures that he's wrong and karma hit him right back. His whole family dies. "Alas for me . the guilt for all of this is mine—it can never be removed from me or passed to any other mortal man. I, and I alone . . . I murdered you . . . I speak the truth."(1326- 1329) The quote represent when he talks bout his wife, son and Antigone where he is alone in the kingdom. How it is his fault that started with the death of Polyneices that cause him his whole family.
The audience has a fear of plunging and pity when Antigone is killed, the mother is killed and Haeman is killed. The audience feel pity of of the dead people. Then they fear that Creon will mess up more as a King. Creon then agrees that he's guilty. "I alone am guilty. I know it, and I say it" (841).
Women in the passage are shown as being weak, and are listed to be below the mens. Also, they are shown not to be strnger that men and very feminine. "Nay, we must remember, first, that we were born women, as who should not strive with men"(14). Here it is seen that women are not equal, and it is very obvious to Antigone and Ismene. Here that women should not compete with men because the women is expected to lose in a battle of men and women. The women has to respect the mens more and be supported.

The Innocence in Antigone

You honor, we are here today due to a misunderstanding of the blind phorpet Teiresias. Antigone has done nothing, but bring this kingdom justice and wellness. The exact day, Teiresias testify to find Antigone burying his brother Polyneices. But, did Teiresias see Antigone pull Polynieces out of the dirt, clean him and buried him? The answer is no. Due to the burial rights, no family should left a member behind unburied. Antigone did the right thing and buried her brother. What Thebes found was Antigone at the scene of the crime just pouring wine on what looked like the burial of Polyneices. But, Antigone was guilt of loving and caring about her brother. " He’s to have no funeral or lame, but to be left unburied and unwept, a sweet treasure for the birds to look at, for them to feed on to their heart’s content"(Sophocles 27- 30). Her sense of love for her family has turned her bad that led to today's case. The Case of Antigone vs. The kingdom of Thebes.
Antigone did what she FELT that would be better for her brother. Her brother couldn't leave the kingdom of Thebes because his soul couldn't turn to ghost or human. "Yes. I’ll do my duty to my brotherand yours as well, if you’re not prepared to. I won’t be caught betraying him" (56- 59) He couldn't be reincarnated without his body buried. But that the mystery of today case. The question: Who should suffer? Let me ask you, you honor; A person who has done what that released Polyneices' soul to rest in peace or the person who is letting Polyneices' body suffer even though he died already?
You honor, due to the law of Thebes, We, the Defendant ask you one, to plead in the favor of the Defendant. Two: Antigone is not guilt by doing traditional family burial rights for her brother Polyneices. Three: That what Teiresias say did not prove that Antigone has buried her brother by pouring wine on top of his body.

Creon takes his Kingdom down with Him

Several nights ago, Creon harshly responded to Antigone that Creon will not bury the body of Polynieces. Polynieces who's Antigone's brother. There was no good signs in the tone of Creon's voice and the way he spoke to his son Haeman's finance or soon to be daughter-in-law.

The last breaths of the suspicious air in Thebes yesterday, Creon has buried Polyneices ten feet below. Even though Creon felt before that Polyneices was very disgraceful and done nothing good to Thebes. Tiresias, the god that was sent to speak to Creon. Tiresias spoke to Creon in his dreams which the truths were brought to his attention that has always blinded him since he's been crowned. There Creon has discovered that the suicide of the daughter of Oepedius; Antigone was leaded back to him. A couple days before, Creon force Antigone out and she hid in a cave. This was her punishment for burying her brother Polyneices. Soon found Antigone hanging herself in the cave. The second death; Creon's very own son Haeman, who kills himself when he hears about the death of his fiance; Antigone. Then Creon realize the repetition he has put on Thebes and his innocent people. Also, the pain in his wife's position. The Queen of Creon and to the people of Thebes, who has killed herself after hearing about her son Haeman and Antigone's death. Creon has dugged himself in a deep hole. He has cause more than a commotion to Thebes, he cause a history to write about. A history of deaths that lead to him in the darkness of only sorrow and fear.

Nightmare or....visit?

Just these past few nights that Grandfather just passed away, I have been getting up at 2: 00 am and seeing shadows. I guess that my wish has came. I wished to have a sixth ssense and could see the other side of the world. My mother told me not to kid with her, but I had to tell someone. Last night, I only haad five hours of sleep...tired! I felt coldness rush, which the elders say that someone from the other world is visiting. It's very disturbing that I can't help stop the cold breeze here and there. I had probably dreamed the past memories and see his spirit. He brush my hair showing the signs that he loves me. As a shaman, I believe in the after life adventure to birthplace and get your jacket in order to go to heaven. Grandpa is on his adventure to his childhood.

He passed away infront of my eyes and in our home that we welcome him to stay with fro just almost a week. He got his life savings and a taste of the fish he begged for for a couple nights. At 5 o'clock of friday Nov. 7th, 2008, Grandfather joined the other side of the world. He is a big man with a huge kind-hearted. The elders say that the fish was the special thing taht would guided him to his death. Overall, there was no sign that Grandpa had stroke attack, heart attack or choked.

Grandpa was a man-kind savior of life or healer. He help the spirit of Shamans when the spirit gets sad, tired of life and the gets sick. Grandfather helped hundreds of people and their spirits. Touching Technology

I love technology. Technology is very advance, but that doesn't mean my brain is going to be at the same level. When I first started noticing technology, it was like I was stuck in a cave alone. Ready to tear out the beast in me to start typing 70 wpm and e-mailing random people. But, after learning to control that beast, I have therapy myself to only make connections through facebook, myspace, yahoo, msn and now blogging. Blogging? Shockingly, I got nervous of his website. Then I start chugging in coco puffs that brings out the cou cou in me, I just surf blogs and more blogs. I grabbed another box of coco puffs and my hair frizz up and my hands shivers. SNAP! Before I notice, I am typing 100 wpm. My hair standing tall and my hands move as fast as Nancy Jebet Langat's feets (won gold in the 100 meter dash in Olympics of 2008). My energy of technology in myself will last as long as technology exist. Caution: Ask parents or guardian before touching technology while eating coco puffs.
